The National Gallery Singapore opens its doors to the public on the 24 November 2015

The National Gallery Singapore which contains the largest public collection of visual arts from Singapore and Southeast Asia from the 19th century to the present day will open its doors to the public on the 24 November 2015.

Marcel Broodthaers @ Fridericianum, 17 July to 10 October 2015

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of documenta, the Fridericianum will present an extensive survey exhibition of works by Marcel Broodthaers, one of the most significant representatives of the art of the 20th and 21st centuries, from all of his creative periods.

Venice Biennale, 9 May to 22 November 2015

The 56th International Art Exhibition titled All the World’s Futures, curated by Okwui Enwezor and organized by la Biennale di Venezia chaired by Paolo Baratta, will be open to the public from 9 May at the Arsenale. “136 artists have been summoned, of which 88 for the first time. They come from 53 countries, and many of them from geographical areas that we paradoxically insist on defining as peripheral. Of works on display, 159 are expressly realized for this year edition. This will also help us uncover the latest tendencies regarding the geography and routes taken by contemporary art.” - Paolo Baratta

Conflict, Time, Photography @ Tate Modern

The exhibition examines the relationship between photography and over 150 years of conflict around the world, since the invention of photography.

documenta 14 will open in Athens in April 2017 and be inaugurated in Kassel on 10 June 2017

Artistic Director Adam Szymczyk announced documenta 14’s twofold structure: In 2017, documenta 14 will establish a second site in Athens, bringing Kassel and the Greek capital onto equal footing as the two locations of the exhibition.

Disobedient Objects, 26 July 2014 - 1 February 2015 @ V&A

The exhibition will examine the powerful role of objects in movements for social change from the late 1970s to now, a time that has brought new technologies and political challenges. On display will be arts of rebellion from around the world including the Ikea stuffed wolf “Lufsig” tossed last December by anti-government protesters at Leung Chun-ying.
